Hundreds of disadvantaged or at-risk youth, referred to as “zogoes” in Liberia, turned out in numbers to grace the much-talked-about three-day deliverance crusade for “zogoes” in the country.

The three-day deliverance crusade for the at-risk youths is taking place at Slipway’s football field in Monrovia.

At the opening ceremony, hundreds of “zogoes” were in attendance for deliverance.

The crusade is organized by Liberation Center Liberia, a Christian organization whose objective is to save lost souls. In Liberia, Liberation center prioritizes at-risk youths.

Speaking at day one of the crusade, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Michael Bowen, told the crowd that Jesus loves “zogoes” very much.

According to him, today’s “zogoes” are tomorrow leaders, and that God can change anything from bad to good.

Evangelist Bowen said he was also an at-risk youth in America, but God changed him.

He told Liberian “zogoes” that hope is alive through Jesus Christ.

At the well-attended “zogo” crusade, the Liberation team was preaching, singing, providing medication, donating clothes and barbing the hair of “zogoes”. According to the group’s CEO, God will use “zogoes” in Liberia to share the Gospel.
