The Liberian Senate has unanimously voted to confirm four presidential nominees affecting the General Auditing Commission (GAC) and the Liberia Anti- Corruption Commission (LACC).

Those confirmed are Wisely S. Nanka, Deputy Auditor General for Audit Services; Foday G. Kromah, Deputy Auditor General for Administration; G. Cecil Dole, Deputy Auditor General for Special Audit, all of the General  Auditing Commission(GAC); and Cllr. David B. Wilson, Commissioner, Liberia-Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC).

The confirmation of the four presidential nominees was triggered by confirmation and performance reports submitted to the Senate plenary by the Joint Committee on Autonomous Commissions and Agencies as well as Public Accounts and Audit.

Meanwhile, Senate Pro-Tempore Albert T. Chie has accordingly instructed the Secretary of Senate to inform the Chief Executive, President George Mannah Weah, on the actions of the Liberian Senate.
