The much promulgated Gbarnga-Salayea Road has taken shape, evident by the progress made along the corridor.

The nightmare that once confronted commuters is about to be laid to rest as the project has hit the ground running under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, whose vision is anchored in connecting County Capitals.

Special mention is also made of the strong partnership and proactivity of several stakeholders, including the Ministry of Public Works and the World Bank-funded Infrastructure Implementation Unit (IIU).

Superintendent Esther Walker of Bong County could not hold back her excitement as she rallied the locals for the process.

Meanwhile, the Resettlement Action Plan Compensation Exercise continues along the corridor.

Public Works Minister, Ruth Coker-Collins, led the delegation for the launch of the payment, which commenced on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
