A civil society group has recognized the efforts of the Minister of Post and Telecommunication, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah Sr., and certificated him for the growing transformation taking place at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication.

On Friday, September 2, 2022, a group calling itself “Good Governance Forum”, surprisingly paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication and presented a certificate of recognition to Minister Kruah.

Presenting the certificate of recognition, the Executive Director, Jeremiah Bryant, said the Good Governance Forum is an advocacy group located in Clara Town, and has monitoring the affairs of the Minister of Post and Telecommunication as he continues the transformation of Liberia’s postal sector.

He said when a few people in Liberia are making significant strides to transform the lives of the ordinary Liberians, there is a need to recognize and bestow honor on such individual.

The certificate of recognition read, “For the progress made in the transformation of Liberia’s postal & telecommunications sector 2021/22…”

Executive Director Bryant further pointed out that, since 2021, the Good Governance Forum has been monitoring the transformation taking place at a number of major post offices around the country.

Responding to the recognition, the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah Sr., appreciated the group for the gesture but differed by extending praises to President George M. Weah, who has been the torch bearer for national development in the country.
