“You’re Doomed!”–PYJ Predicts Rep. Dennis’s Defeat In 2023 Election
Nimba County Senator, Prince Johnson, said Montserrado County’s electoral district #4 Representative, Rustonlyn Suacoco Dennis, is “doomed” and that she is destined to lose in the pending the 2023 presidential and legislative elections. “I am an ordained man of God, so anyone who attack me—you’re doomed politically,” he said.
Preaching on the theme, “My Past is Over”, on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at his Chapel of Faith Ministries in Paynesville from Ecclesiastes 3:1, Senator Johnson, who is also the General Overseer of the church, said Representative Dennis has consistently called him a criminal, rogue and murderer without displaying any evidence against him.
“Did I steal your money, or Have I controlled an entity of government with budget allocation? Madam Dennis, you are a little girl. I love you, but God loves… I am not after you, so why are you after me?” he asked.
Reflecting on his dark days during the 1989 war, where his defunct Independent National Patriotic Front of Liberia (INPFL) slew President Samuel Doe, Johnson, then Field Marshal, said his decision is based on the fact that his kinsmen, Nimbaians, were chased out of their rented homes and communities, women, girls and babies were raped consistently, and Nimba was declared “enemy of the state”.
Senator Johnson claims he was totally involved in the election of Representative Rustonlyn Dennis by campaigning among Nimbaians residing in Montserrado County’s electoral district #4, through Nimba Kwado, to vote for her. “If you attack me do you think the people of Nimba will vote you? I will say no. Instead, ‘Kick her out’. Anyone whose leader is an enemy of progress…vote them out,” he added.
According to him, during the Biblical days King Solomon asked God for wisdom and God gave him wisdom, but he, Senator Johnson, did not ask for popularity because one can be popular but may not be a servant of the people or a leader. He stated that he asked God to be servant of the people; today God has made him to be a leader of the people, to the extent that many have come to the national stage through him.
Last week, Montserrado County’s district #4 Representative, Dennis, obstructed the passage of an act seeking to grant the PYJ Polytechnic degree-granting status.
Representative Dennis said enacting such a law in Liberia and naming a university after PYJ, who is considered a murderer, will be a disgrace to the nation.
She explained that the Liberian Legislature granting Prince Johnson’s school the status means the people of Liberia are dignifying him for the role he played during the civil crisis. She called on Senator Johnson to openly apologize to the Liberian people for killing innocent citizens.
In response, Senator Johnson added that the polytechnic is intended to benefit the people of Liberia and the world at large.
Johnson said the board of directors and teaching staffs are individuals from diverse backgrounds of life, including Nigerians, Ghanaians, Sierra Leoneans and Liberians, noting that the university is his legacy to mankind.
He added that objecting to such a dream shows the highest degree of hate Representative Dennis has for him, which he said he does not deserve, considering his personal support to her during the 2017 election.
