The President of Liberia, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, has accepted the resignations of suspended Solicitor General, Cllr. Sayma Syrenius Cephus, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel F. McGill, and the National Port Authority (NPA) Managing Director, Bill Twehway.

Cllr. Cephas, Twehway and McGill were suspended by the President following United States Treasury Department-imposed sanctions on them.

In their letters of resignation dated September 12, 2022, the three former officials of government thanked Dr. Weah for the opportunity to serve in the government and country.
