The Liberia Business Association (LIBA) has described the deaths of two of its members as a big blow to the institution.

According to LIBA’s President, James M Strother, the late Charles Clarke was a founding member of the Liberia Business Association (LIBA), while the late Tugbeh Doe served as president, and both of them helped to bring the association to where it is today.

Speaking to a team of reporters on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at their office, LIBA’s President Strother disclosed that Clarke and Tugbeh are individuals who served the institution with diligence, and always wanted to see Liberia’s economy strong.

Strother further described LIBA’s late officials as people who had good hearts and great visions, who always cared for their friends and families.

The association’s president at the same time called on the bereaved families to take solace in the Lord, adding that the association will stand by them during their time of bereavement.

“Death is painful. Death taking precious jewels like them is more painful. You were a man with a good heart, who cared so much about friends and family. You contributed to the development of the business association, and you never ceased to be an inspiration to all. The Liberian Business Association (LIBA) will forever miss your leadership and support to the growth and development of Liberian businesses,” said Strother.
