Fata Donzo Sirleaf, Presidential Aspirant, UMU
SHARE

Fata Donzo Sirleaf, the wife of former Central Bank Deputy Governor, Charles Sirleaf, is making headways among her fellow contestants at the United Methodist University (UMU) in Monrovia.

Sirleaf, a senior student studying accounting as major and procurement minor, received petition from a number of UMU students some time ago to become a presidential contestant in UMU’s student election.

Sirleaf in recent time embarked on painting the school’s campus, providing a 43-inch flat-screen TV, zincing the school’s basketball court, among other initiatives.

Fata is loved by many of her school mates for her kindness toward them. As the only female candidate among her male presidential counterparts, she is said to be making headways, evident by her developmental initiatives at UMU.

According to her, she was petitioned by scores of UMU students some time ago to contest for the presidential seat of UMU’s student government, and said she deems it necessary to adhere to her colleagues’ call to service.

When questioned about the level of experience she brings to the table, she answered as saying that she has served as president for her class since she entered UMU, served in many capacities as a leader, and that she is not  a novice when it comes to leadership. According to her, she comes to the table with vast experience in servant-leadership.

The UMU female presidential aspirant has promised an inclusive leadership if she succeeds in the UMU presidential election, slated for December 2, 2022: the various colleges of UMU in Nimba, Bong and other parts of the country will be represented in her leadership.
