Gov’t To Launch Electronic Pay-Slip Platform Wednesday

On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the inter-agency’s team comprising of the Civil Service Agency (CSA), Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) and the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) will officially launch and begin awareness on the digitalization and synchronization of civil servants’ employment and pension data, and the civil servants electronic pay-slip platform at a special MICAT press briefing. 

  Digitalization and synchronization of civil servants employment and pension data is a project that will ensure that all employment data are collected and uploaded on the payroll platform and automatically linked to the automated pension platform of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation. Data to be collected, uploaded and automatically linked include social security number, sex, date of birth, date of employment, physical address, email address, cellphone numbers, gross salary, monthly social security deduction, etc. Once completed, this will easily provide earning history civil servants and ensure timely processing retirement and pensions when employees are retired in the future.

   The electronic pay-slip platform is a digital platform that provides civil servants easy and quick access to their monthly pay-slips using their own email account. Monthly pay-slips will provide details of civil servants’ gross monthly salary various deductions, including income tax, social security, insurance, LPA and other deductions. The pay-slip will also provide the monthly payroll exchange rate and the actual amounts in both United States and Liberian dollars that are sent to the commercial banks and mobile money platforms for deposit into civil servants’ accounts.

   The official launching program will take place at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism at the precise hour of 11:00 a.m.
