Pastor Nugba Highlights 2022 Developmental Initiatives

The General Overseer of the Abosso Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ Incorporated, Pastor Samuel Nugba, has highlighted developmental initiatives undertaken by the church in district # 16 since he took over the ministry in 2016.

   In a chart with the Hot Pepper, Pastor Nugba pointed out transformation of women and youths through the empowerment programs of the church and offering  over twenty scholarship to less fortunate children to acquire academic and vocational skills.

   He pointed out the construction of an eight bedroom clinic located in the township of Caldwell and its surrounding towns and villages, and an eight classroom building at the Bishop Leslie Josiah Barnes School in the Borough of New Kru Town, to be used as the One Power United Vocational School.

   He put the estimated cost of these projects at US$75,000.00. he disclosed that in this year they are contemplating opening the Abosso Apostolic Faith Church University, district #16, Montserrado County, to provide quality education to students wanting to advance their studies at the college level.

   According to him, it is the church’s way of buttressing the government “Pro-Poor Agenda for Development and Prosperity (PADP)”.

   Additionally, he said his administration has given birth to three churches, including its Sierra Leone branch.

   Pastor Nugba was appointed and confirmed in 2016 by the Presiding Bishop, Monroe R. Saunders, Jr., in the United States of America (USA).

   The man-of-God has, meanwhile, extolled the Government of Liberia (GOL) for the level of peace being enjoyed by the citizenry and foreigners alike, and for the level of development initiatives undertaken by the CDC government under the stewardship of President Dr. George Manneh Weah over the last five years.

   He then entreated President Weah not to look back, but to put God first and foremost in steering the affairs of the country to see the wonders and manifestation of God’s work and protection to take Liberia to the next level of development and transformation.
