Hundreds of young people in Liberia at the weekend graced 4Life Zoe Technical Training Program’s 29th training circle orientation at the institution’s headquarters in Jacob Town, Peace Island community, district #2, Monsterrado County.

During the orientation, lecturers from various departments used the time to educate students on the importance of the courses they select.

The school provides training in interior decoration and fashion design, architecture, cosmetology, satellite, bio- digester, plumbing, A/C and refrigerator, music, IT, electrical, driving and catering. Its objective is to ensure that majority of the citizenry are independent and productive in helping Liberia gets better.

According to information gathered, 4Life Zoe is one of the fastest growing technical vocational schools in Liberia.  It has been around for seven years, with several branches in about five counties. In Monsterrado County, the school has over three branches.

The school is said to be the first technical vocational training school to introduce bio-digester and satellite installation programs to the public.

Speaking at the 29th circle’s orientation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 4Life Zoe, Francis Varney, used the occasion to encourage in-coming students on what they intend to do.

According to him, life without God is nothing. He said developing a relationship with God matters. 4Life Zoe Chief Executive Officer noted that Liberia societal challenges is predicated upon the lack of necessary skills to fill in the day-to-day challenges faced by the society.

He said Liberia needs more people who are skill-minded to help tackle the issue of corruption and poverty among Liberians.

According to him, from what he has seen, degree is not helping the society. He said he believes that Liberians will only improve through skills development and the fear of God.

The orientation was interactive among in-coming students and teachers. The school’s 28th circle students are expected to graduate this week Saturday.

All classes for the 29th circle are expected to begin the second week in December 2023.
