The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Africa Union Trading Company, a private company operating in Liberia and other parts of the world, Eric Oppong Twum, has informed the Hot Pepper that the Africa Union Trading Company has begun recruiting about 150 young Liberians to help clean up the city of Monrovia and its surroundings for December and the new year.

Twum said his company’s intention is to buttress the government in cleaning up the city during and after the Christmas season.

According to him, plans are underway by his company to collaborate with the in-coming government for the construction of roads and road connectivity across Liberia.

He made the disclosure recently during a conversation via mobile with the Hot Pepper in Monrovia.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer noted that his company’s key objective is to buttress the government’s effort in addressing the needs of Liberians.

He stated further that additional plans are also underway to decentralize the company’s operation across Liberia. Currently, Africa Union Trading Company is operating in three counties: Grand Bassa, Monsterrado and Marigibi.

Africa Union Trading Company Incorporated is a non-political and non-religious company which focuses on building people’s capacity through job creation, among others.
