The Resident Pastor of the Dominion Christian Fellowship Center of the ELWA Branch has urged Liberian clergymen and Liberians to be faithful in the work of God. Apostle Larry M. Davis Jr. stated that faithfulness is critical for any endeavor in life, especially in the house of God.

Apostle Davis made the assertion Sunday when he was honored as the “Outstanding Pastor of the year 2023” by the Concern Journalists Association of Liberia, held at the church in ELWA, Paynesville.

He noted that no man can achieve any success without commitment, dedication and faithfulness in the sight of God and man.

He underscored that Liberian clergymen should remain faithful to their calling, no matter the condition and situation confronting their ministries, noting that God is faithful to take them through any situation.

Apostle Davis maintained that it is unfortunate that some young Liberian pastors are seeking after reward than being faithful and committed to the ministry and God.

According to him, “You cannot harvest where you do not sow, and if transformation should take place in the nation Liberians should be willing to sacrifice in their endeavors.”

He asserted that people want reward but do not want to sacrifice, which is undermining the growth and development of potential pastors, teachers, engineers, doctors, among other professionals, in the transformation of Liberia for the betterment of all.

Apostle Davis then challenged the Unity Party government, headed by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, that the promises made to the Liberian people should be fulfilled, emphasizing that politicians can promise to deliver and can failed, but God cannot fail.
