The Cassell Kuoh Foundation, through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Cassell Kuoh, along with Varfley Dorleh, on Monday, March 25, 2024 donated rice, Argo Oil and cartons of fish to several mosques in Monrovia as a way of identifying with them during their observation of the Holy Month of Ramadan; Henry K. Bestman reports.

Kuoh disclosed that he made a commitment after he was release from prison in the United States—that when he returns to Liberia he would make sure to share the blessings of the Lord with the Christian and Muslim communities, and this is exactly what he is doing. According to him, for seven years now, each time he returns to Liberia he donates to the Christian community during the Christmas season and to the Muslim community during the Ramadan.

He underscored that the Holy Bible emphasized, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Making the donation, CEO Kuoh told the Muslims that it was through their prayers that God has kept the peace and stability of the country for the past twenty years, and asked that they continue with their prayers for the nation in order for peace to perpetually prevail. He prayed that Allah will continue to bless the over 100,000 Muslims in the country.

Receiving the donation, the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Liberia, Sheikh Abubakar Sumaworo, thanked the Cassell Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for remembering them during the month of Ramadan, and assured that they will continue to pray to God for the safety of the nation and its people.

Sheikh Sumaworo thanked Kuoh and his partner, and prayed that God continues to bless him and his family.

For his part, Varfley Dorleh commended Cassell Kuoh for the kind gesture provided the Muslims, and assured that the Muslims will continue to pray for the Kuoh Foundation and the Kuoh Academy.

Among those who received the donation were Newport Street mosque, Benson Street mosque, Randall Street mosque, Gurley Street mosque, West Point mosque, Salafiyah mosque, Matadi central mosque, United Da’wah Ummah Mosque and Gafa and Marwa mosque.

Each mosque received twenty-five (25) bags of 25kg rice, two (2) cartons of Argo Oil and two (2) cartons of fish.
