President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has named Dr. Dougbeh Chris Nyan as the Director General of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) based on recommendation of the Board.
Dr. Nyan comes highly recommended with years of experience in the sector.
In a related development, O. Natty B. Davis and Wade Thompson Dennis Merchant have been appointed to the Board of the Williams V.S Tubman University in Maryland County.
According to an Executive Mansion release, these appointments take immediate effect.
President Boakai has meanwhile called on Dr. Nyan and other officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism and loyalty in service to country.
