Tally: “FDA Will Live Up To Its Commitment”
The Deputy Managing Director for Operation, Forestry Development Authority (FDA), Joseph J. Tally, has disclosed that his entity will live up to its commitment in the protection of Liberia forest resources and provide for all Liberians the needed opportunity for the growth of the nation, noting that with the level of transformation at the FDA it will be one of the best forest protectors in the West African region in the not-too-distant future under the management team. Tally said the FDA management is on target with its deliverables.
Tally said that they will do everything possible to meet all the necessary requirements in order to be one of the best rangers in the sub-region.
He made the remarks recently went the Liberia Youth Initiative (LYI) presented him an honor over the weekend.
LYI honored Tally for his numerous contributions to the growth and development of Liberia.
The certificate of honor to Tally will be presented by the President of the youth organization, Gabriel K. Wisner, on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Wisner said the honor is intended to appreciate Tally for his cordial working relationship with the people of Liberia, the transformation he has carried out and the unity he has brought to FDA.
LYI President said the young people of the country have followed Tally’s activities over the years, and affirm that he deserves to be honored by them.
According to him, Tally has made numerous contributions to the state, including the provision of scholarships to the less fortune. He noted that Tally is a dedicated person who has brought light to the society by enabling the youth to acquire free education through scholarship.
LYI’s President said a survey conducted by their organization revealed that hundreds of students are currently benefiting from Tally’s scholarships nationwide, which is helping immensely to reduce the illiteracy in the country.
LYI is a youth organization helping to develop thousands of young people around the country to meet their full potential.
