The Church of the Lord Liberia Province has successfully concluded its annual conference celebration at its provincial headquarters, bringing together church leaders, ministers, and faithful members from across the country.

This year’s conference, themed, “Walking in Faith”, ran from February 17 to February 24 and focused on strengthening believers’ faith in God, fostering unity, and addressing key issues within the church and society.

Speaking to the media after the event, Provincial Head Bishop, Moses Victor Olasemojo, emphasized the significance of faith in the Christian journey.

“Everyone who wants to talk with God must have faith. Hebrews 11:6 says, ‘And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him,’” Bishop Olasemojo stated.

He further explained that true service to God requires total reliance and trust in Him, which was a central message throughout the conference.

The week-long gathering featured a variety of activities and teachings aimed at spiritual growth, personal development, and church administration.

During the lectures on investment and marriage counseling, participants engaged in discussions on financial management and strengthening family relationships; evangelism and community outreach, preaching sessions were held in different communities to spread the message of faith. And during the evening revival services, spiritual renewal and worship gatherings brought members together in prayer.
Diocesan Reports and Ministerial Transfers followed. Church leaders from various dioceses presented reports, discussed challenges, and received guidance for future improvements. Some ministers were transferred to new locations for greater impact in different counties.

Bishop Olasemojo noted that the conference provided an opportunity to reflect on the church’s progress, assess challenges, and strategize for future growth.

“It is important that we come together, reason together, and review what we have done so far to identify our mistakes and improve,” he said.

The conference attracted participants from several counties, including Lofa, Grand Gedeh, Nimba, Bong, Bassa, Bomi, and Margibi.

During the event, five ministers graduated from the seminary, marking an important milestone in their journey to serve in the church.

“The ministry cannot be stagnant. You need to be recommended for promotion, and we are committed to ensuring that ministers are placed where they can best serve,” Bishop Olasemojo stated.
Beyond church matters, Bishop Olasemojo also used the occasion to call for unity, love, and national development in Liberia.

“I want Liberia to walk in unity. Let’s love one another and not see each other as enemies. We should build our country together because that is very important,” he urged.

Addressing recent political tensions, he encouraged national leaders to resolve disputes and work toward progress.

“There have been some rigmarole in the House of Representatives. I urge the President to bring a final stop to this so that the country can move forward,” he added.

As the Annual Conference concluded, church members left spiritually renewed and motivated to deepen their faith, serve their communities, and contribute positively to national development.

The Church of the Lord Liberia Province said they remain committed to spreading the Gospel, promoting unity, and equipping its members with knowledge and faith to navigate life’s challenges.
