According to an AFL statement, this event marks a crucial step in enhancing the operational capabilities of the AFL, particularly in reconnaissance and communication roles, which are vital for modern military operations.

The activation aims to improve the readiness and effectiveness of the Armed Force of Liberia and to ensure they can respond more efficiently to national security challenges.

The establishment of these units reflects an on-going effort by the AFL and partners to strengthen the military’s infrastructure and training programs.
