AFL Top Brass Gets Sierra Leone Armed Forces’ Prestigious Award

A top Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) military brass, Lieutenant Colonel Robert T. Jadoe, has been honored with the most prestigious award by the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) for distinguished service.

   Lt. Col. Jadoe was credited for his role in training and mentoring junior and mid-level officers of the RSLAF at the Horton Command and Staff College in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

   His exceptional leadership during his five-year tour of duty from 2019—2023 was marked by dedication. It was credited with strengthening and improving professionalism in the Sierra Leone Armed Forces and paramilitary.

   The prestigious award of Passed Staff Course Dagger was recently presented to Lt. Col Jadoe by the AFL Chief of Major General Davidson F Forleh.

   Major General Forleh, making the presentation, expressed deep appreciation and said it was a moment of great pride and recognition for both Lt. Col. Jadoe and the Armed Forces of Liberia’s contribution to regional military training and cooperation.

   Major General Forleh thanked Lt. Col Jadoe for exemplifying the highest standards of military service and international cooperation.

   He said the honor and recognition by the RSLAF speak of the caliber of AFL officers and the respect accorded to the AFL high command in the region.

   Lt Col Jadoe holds a Master’s Degree in Defense and International Politics from the Ghana Institution of Public Administration. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Liberia.

   Lt. Col. Jadoe has attended and participated in several military training programs, including the Staff Course in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. He underwent an Adjutant General Course in the United States of America and a Special Guard/VIP Protection Course in China.

   Lt. Col. Robert T. Jadoe is currently the J1 of the Armed Forces of Liberia, serving with a high level of professionalism.
