Orange Foundation, in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia has officially launched a state-of-the-art Computer Lab for Innovation and Development—designed to bridge the digital gap for children and young people.

The exciting initiative will open doors to digital learning, creativity and new opportunities, equipping young minds with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Speaking during the launch over the weekend in Sinkor, Orange Foundation Senior Manager, Uomah Brown-Witherspoon, said the students should own the computer lab, and urged the community to make great impact.

According to her, the initiative is more than a computer lab; it is a bold step toward digital inclusion, empowerment and a brighter future for Liberia’s next generation.

She said the moment shows that the journey has begun and the impact will extend far beyond these walls, shaping careers, communities, and the digital future ahead.

At the same time, the Manager of SOS Children ‘s Villages in Liberia, B. Yeanay Wilson, said the event reflects a bold step into the future of innovation, skills development, and digital empowerment.

Wilson said Orange Foundation and SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia stand as a beacon of creativity and transformation, designed to nurture talent, spark ideas, and equip the next generation with practical digital skills for innovation and employability.
