ArcelorMittal Liberia, in partnership with Grand Bassa County authorities, recently dedicated a new, modern community town hall in Gunnigar Town, Buchanan City, valued at over US$57,600, including 1.7 acres (seven Lots of land) and funded through its Community Development Fund (CDF).
The facility, which includes offices, a latrine, chairs, and a generator, will serve as an important space for community meetings, decision-making, and development planning.
AML and local officials praised the strong collaboration behind the project, describing the town hall as a symbol of progress and unity. The dedication, they said, underscores AML’s continued commitment to supporting sustainable development in its host communities.
