A modern building, valued at over US$30,000, has been turned over to the Coalition for Democratic Change local chapter in River Gee County for use as its official headquarters.

The well-furnished building was turned over to the party by one of its stalwart and senior partisan, Ambassador Nora Finda Bundo, during a brief ceremony in the county’s capital, Fish Town, last week.

The edifice, ideally located on the principal street in Fish Town, contains six offices, bathrooms and a well-furnished conference room with 48 seats.

All the rooms are equipped with modern facilities, including furniture, computers and television sets to boost the work of the chapter and entertain delegates and visitors during a major party conference.

Making the disclosure to the Hot Pepper at the weekend, the Chairman of the CDC Governing Council in River Gee, Natt Dadier, said the gesture is Ambassador Bundoo’s way of identifying with the local chapter as preparation intensifies for the December 8, 2020 special senatorial election in the country.

Dadier said the new headquarters will add decency to the party and boost its activities, not only in River Gee, but the surrounding counties as well.

He maintained the ambassador’s gesture did not come as a surprise to CDC partisans as she is always at the vanguard for the promotion of the party’s interest around the country.

Dadier said the new headquarters will be used as a place where ideas are formulated to move the party forward.
