A 2-member delegation, headed by the Chairperson of the National Elections Commission (NEC), is in Accra, Ghana, for a working visit at the invitation of the Margins ID Group to discuss the possible cooperation regarding the use of the Biometric Voter Registration in Liberia.
Margins ID Group, based in Accra, Ghana is a dominant leader in the field of identity, biometric, card manufacturing, personalization, and it hardware and software consultancy.
The other member of the NEC-Liberia delegation to Ghana is the Director of Data Center, Isaac Zahn.
NEC, in a press statement Monday, quotes the invitation letter from Margins ID Group, addressed to the Chairperson of NEC-Liberia, Cllr. Davidetta Browne Lansanah, as saying that the purpose of the visit is to share experience in designing, financing and co-operating of multi-biometric system, which can be used for national identifications, verification and other electoral purposes.
The NEC statement, issued today, July 12, 2021 said the delegation Monday visited the Integrity Card Printing Services, a member of the conglomerate of the Margins ID Group of Ghana. The Integrity Card Printing Services for nearly 30 years has been engaged in biometric solutions, including printing of biometric registration cards, biometric security and other printing works.
Touring the certified facility, Intelligent Card Production System Limited of Ghana, a subsidiary of Margins ID Group, the production center of Ghana’s National ID Card registry, will also form part of the visit of the NEC 2-member delegation, the Margins ID Card invitation letter observed.
