The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 4Life Zoe Technical Training Program, one of Liberia’s fastest growing vocational training programs, Francis A. Varney, has disclosed a plan by his vocational school to give away 1,000 scholarship for the year 2025.
Speaking on Truth FM 96.1 Breakfast Show on Thursday, January 9, 2025, 4Life’s boss noted that the 1,000 scholarships are designed to help the Government of Liberia (GOL) and its people in career opportunities.
According to him, fifty scholarship are designed for each government security institution in the country, in varied disciplines offered by the school, and that beneficiaries of the scholarship are to only register and pay for the school’s T-shirt for the semester.
Last year, 4Life Zoe Technical Training Program provided 750 scholarships.
4Life CEO said the total cost of the scholarships provided is US$500,000, relative to the school’s operation.
When questioned by reporters during the talk show on what prompted such a huge scholarship by 4Life Zoe, he responded as saying that the scholarships are his contribution to the development of Liberia.
4Life Zoe Technical Training Program provides long-term and short-term training programs to the public at affordable costs.
The school offers courses in interior decoration & fashion design, architect, cosmetology, satellite install, biodigester, A/C & refrigerator, plumbing, music, IT, electricity, driving and catering, and has several branches in the 15 counties.
