Credible information reaching the Hot Pepper indicates that the Assistant Secretary General of the Delaware Chapter Valley of the Association of Liberian Journalists in the Americas (ALJA), Joemalay Mcturay, has resigned his position. Mcturay reportedly resigned sometimes ago due to alleged personal reasons.
According to sources, Assistant Secretary Mcturay officially informed the Chapter President about his resignation.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the information has been diverged to several top brass of the parent bodies of ALJA, but according to a senior member of the association the resignation is confirmed.
In a related development, journalist Mcturay is expected to elaborate on his resignation in the coming days. In a recent Facebook podcast, Journalist Mcturay openly expressed the long pending resignation.
