Alleged MOJ Employees Nabbed

On Friday, July 30, 2021, police in Ganta, Nimba Country, arrested three alleged employees of the Ministry of Justice Operation Public Safety Department: Edwin Massaley, age 51, Duokie S. Johnson, age 52, and Chester D. Kollie, age 52.

According to the alleged employees of the Ministry of Justice, they were “sent from the Ministry of Justice Public Safety Department” to carry out inspection of various pharmacies and drug stores in Liberia.

During the LNP investigation, it was gathered that the alleged employees have been in the habit of constantly harassing business people in Paynesville, Duala and Redlight for many years now. The LNP also stated that during their preliminary investigation the alleged employee, Duokie Johnson, who is the driver, was charged with theft by deception and criminal conspiracy.

One of the alleged employees, Solomon, who is on the run, is yet to be found and is wanted as investigation continues, but some workers from the Pharmacy Board in Nimba Country alleged that the escape of the alleged criminal is questionable.

The arrested imposters are currently behind bars at the Gompa police station, waiting to be forwarded to court.
