As a way of helping to promote education in Liberia, the Bishop of the Independent Catholic Church of Liberia (ICCL), Nimely Jarbokly Donyen, has awarded twenty (20) scholarships to graduates of the Noah’s Ark High School, located in Barnesville.

Bishop Donyen made the statement recently at the program marking the twentieth graduation exercises of the Noah’s Ark High School in Johnsonville Township.

The Independent Catholic Bishop stated that it was his own way of helping to buttress the government’s effort.

Bishop Donyen added that it is important for any one individual who knows the importance of education to invest in it.

The head of the Independent Catholic Church of Liberia informed the graduates that education is the bedrock for the growth and development of any nation.

The Montserrado County electoral district #2 representative-aspirant cautioned the graduates to press forward for higher education as they walk out of the walls of Noah’s Ark High School.

The bishop of the Independent Catholic Church at the same time urged the graduates to serve as ambassadors of change in society. According to him, the students did their best by completing high school.

He reminded the graduates of the vital role they have to play in the rebuilding process of Liberia.

The Independent Catholic of Liberia Bishop told the graduates that they are the future leaders the country depends on to lead the future to come.

He also lauded their parents for supporting their children up to the completion of high school.

Bishop Donyen at the same time extended thanks and appreciation to authorities of the Noah’s Ark High School for impacting the future leaders of Liberia.

Meanwhile, the Independent Catholic Bishop on that day told the media that, come the 2023 presidential elections, district #2 will have a new lawmaker that puts the interest of the people first.
