The Acting Chairman of the Revolutionary National Youth League of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Alvin Wesseh, has announced that the youth league’s retreat has been scheduled for October 29—November 3, 2024 in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
Speaking during a press conference held at the CDC headquarters in Congo Town, Acting Chairman Wesseh said the retreat aims to explore the political agenda for the youth of CDC as they prepare for the party’s anticipated return to power in 2029. According to him, the retreat is intended to derive the agenda of the young people of CDC.
Wesseh disclosed that the retreat will be held under the theme, “Redefining the Roadmap for National Leadership in 2029”, and will bring together CDC youth leaders from the fifteen political subdivisions of the country, as they prepare to turn setbacks into a great comeback.
“We are glad to announce that Comrade Samuel Teah Wantoe will Chair the National Steering Committee, co-chaired by Comrade Sam G. Takrauh, and Comrade Eriah Gbah will serve as the National Coordinator for the Retreat,” the Acting Chairman of the CDC Youth League, Wesseh, disclosed.
