CNDRA Raises US$134,000 In Six Months

The Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA) has raised US$134,000 in the past six months.

CNDRA Director General, D. Nelson Bearngar, revealed that the money, generated from January to June 2024, is used to fund the national fiscal budget, which supports the government. He asserted that the administration cuts wasteful spending to raise money.

Regarding the budget projection, he said the National Archives needs to provide three hundred forty-one thousand US$341,000 towards the national budget for 2024.

According to DG Bearngar, the CNDRA needs to raise US$207,000 in the following six months, from July to December 2024. “The kind of team I am working with and the policies we have developed will enable us to raise the remaining amount in the next six months,” he said.

Meanwhile, D. Nelson Bearngar declared that the Archives Center would no longer offer gratis services in order to enable the organization to make money.

“Some were taking advantage of it at their own detriment, which prevents the government from receiving the necessary funding,” he stated.
