The management of Farmington Hotel, one of the leading hotels with state-of-the-art conference halls and resort centers located near the Roberts International Airport (RIA), Margibi County, has vowed to immensely contribute to the growth and development of the Liberian economy through the contribution of more employment opportunities, training and revenue generation to the national coffers.
According to the General Manager of Farmington Hotel, Dominique Viard, the institution is a responsible entity that seeks to help improve the livelihood of not only its employees and support staff but the residents of its operational area, as part of its corporate social responsibilities will continue to positively transform the living condition of the citizens as well as buttress government’s effort to achieve its “Pro-poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD)”.
“Farmington Hotel is here to work alongside the government of the President of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, and the Liberian people to ensure that the economy is strong and stable, so that everybody enjoys from the resources of the country,” Dominique Viard observed on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
The hotel’s general manager also indicated that, as long as the hotel continues to operate in the country, the life insurance of its employees remains cardinal and priority, adding that if the employees are not happy and satisfied the entity will not perform up to the expectation of the people and Government of Liberia (GOL).
He made the statement Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Margibi County, when the National Civil Society Union of Liberia (NACSUL) honored and certificated Farmington Hotel as the Most Outstanding Hotel in Liberia for the Year 2021/2022.
The Farmington Hotel general manager expressed thanks and gratitude to the Civil Society Group for selecting his institution, among many hotels, as the best and outstanding, saying that the honor has motivated him and his employees to do more to positively impact the society and provide the best customers services to the public and foreign guests.
For his part, the President of the National Civil Society Union of Liberia (NACSUL), Amos BS Kanneh, said the honor is in recognition of the hotel’s immense contribution towards the growth and development of the Liberian economy, humanitarian services and impacting the livelihood of the people.
