The Liberia National Handball Association has disclosed that it will resume its second national league on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex, Paynesville.
According to a release issued by the association, the game will start at 1:30 p.m., with Sinkor Oilers going against Mighty Rangers, and in the second match Central Freeport faces Navigators, while the last match will see defending champion, Ducor Athletics, going against Bushrod Warriors.
The association’s leadership is meanwhile encouraging the general public, fans and handball lovers to turn out and witness the games at all time.
In a related development, the Liberia National Handball Team is presently training at the University of Liberia’s court in preparation for the Zone 3 Youth and Junior Handball Tournament, which is slated for April in the Ivory Coast.
The leadership of the association used the occasion to appeal to the public and sports lovers for financial and moral support to the National Handball Team as they prepare for the Zone 3 tournament.
