The Bishop of the Independent Catholic of Liberia (ICCL), Father Nimely J. Doyen, is appealing to the management of the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation (LWSC) to assist the citizens of electoral district #2, Montserrado County, to open their damaged water line.
The water facility, which was provided through the kind gesture of Bishop Doyen to help the citizens of the district to have access to safe drinking water line, has since been damaged, and the situation is causing serious problem for thousands of citizens across the district.
The Montserrado County former representative-candidate emphasized the need for the quick intervention of the management of the LWSC.
The ICCL made the appealed on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 when he appeared on the LBS Super Morning Show in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.
According to him, currently the citizens of the district are in dire need of water. The former Montserrado County representative-candidate disclosed that citizens across the district are seriously challenged with the issue of road. Bishop Doyen further stated that most of the roads across district #2 are in a deplorable condition. “I pity the condition of the citizens of district #2, Montserrado County,” Bishop Doyen stated.
He also stated that the management of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) has been doing their best in the provision of electricity for the citizens of district #2, Montserrado County.
The Montserrado County former representative-candidate, despite suffering defeat in the elections in which he participated, still goes about his humanitarian gesture across the district. The ICCL Bishop informed the public that he still means well for the citizens of district #2, Montserrado County.
The Bishop is the Founder of the Cheerful Giver School in the district, which has been providing quality and sound education to thousands of youths.
According to Bishop Doyen, the current enrollment of the school is around 989 students. He disclosed that most of the teachers in the institution helping to mold the minds of the children are well qualified and up to the task. According to him, the current principal and registrar at the institution are products of the school.
The former Montserrado County representative-candidate disclosed that over a period of time he has been able to construct and renovate 13 markets.
Despite Bishop Doyen being a private citizen in district #2, continues to makes lots of interventions in the interest of the citizens.
Currently, Bishop Doyen has about five vocational & training schools across the district as a way of helping to provide empowerment for the citizens.Elaborating further on other national issues from the election, the Bishop alleged out that in the election he won the district seat. According to Bishop Doyen, it was clear and attested to most of the citizens that he won the election.
