James Momoh: “Diabetes Is A Global Problem”

James Momoh, Manager, Liberia Diabetes Testing Center

The Manager of the Liberia Diabetes Center, James Momoh, based in the USA, has told Liberians that diabetes is a global one and, therefore, everyone needs to do their test to know their sugar level.

James Momoh, a former journalist, noted that it is important that everyone pays attention to the effects of the disease. According to him, the diabetes is affecting the entire world, as the sickness has no age limit.

He emphasized that the only way one can know his diabetes status is by going through testing. He named diabetes’ warning signs as frequent urination, excessive hunger, weight lost, slow-healing wounds, vomiting, stomach pain, among others.

Momoh encouraged all Liberians to go to the Diabetes Testing Center, Calton Building, Broad Street, and get tested. “Take advantage of the office on Broad Street and get tested to know your sugar level,” he said.
