Upjit Singh Sachdeva, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jeety Trading Corporation, has continued his goodwill gesture and feeding initiative of inmates at the Monrovia South Beach Prison.
Jeety, as he is popularly known, embarked on the feeding initiative a few years back, targeting the less fortunate of the Liberian society, as well as inmates of the South Beach Prison.
His recent visit to the prison center on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, caught the prison administrators by surprise, as he had fed the inmate just on New Year’s Day, making it twice within a week’s time.
The Indian humanitarian has reiterated that it is blessed to give than to receive, and that he will continue to serve humanity on a charitable basis to receive the blessings of God, as he is of the conviction that he is doing God’s work.
What is fascinating about the Jeety initiative is that, instead of handing over the meal in bulk to the beneficiaries, Jeety and his team patiently dish out the food and serve the beneficiaries one by one, until the entire meal is completely distributed.
His unique and servant-style of serving humanity keeps the process void of noise and corruption, with the beneficiaries and benefactor well satisfied.
Information reaching the Hot Pepper is that Jeety will on today, again, donate to the prison center.
However, Jeety has refused to say whether or not these frequent donations are in any way to help ease the tension on government, as it was reported that some prison centers could shut down due to the lack of food.
