Over five thousand school-going children have benefited from the Jewel M. Cole Educational Foundation, as part of her own way of appreciating the people of Bong County’s district #3.

Jewel M. Cole is the daughter of Bong County’s district #3 Representative, Josiah Marvin Cole. She is a student of the Aware International School, GSA Road.

The Jewel M. Cole Educational Foundation over the weekend donated L$2.5 million worth of items, in material and cash, to students residing in the Bong County district.

During the donation, ten thousand copybooks were distributed along with L$5,000 to each student, as her own contribution for the academic year 2020/2021.

Speaking in Gbarnga, Bong County, the CEO of the Jewelry M. Cole Foundation expressed her appreciation to the citizens and people of Bong County’s district #3 for entrusting her father with a six-year mandate.

“As long as my father is the Representative of this district, I will continue to do my best to see that every child in this district gets an education,” she stated.

Cole urged parent to stop sending their children on the street to sell because they are not money-making machines.
