Liberian Wins New Jersey Councilman Position

Liberia has once more been placed on the international map, particularly in the position as member to the city council of the State of New Jersey in the Americas.

   James D. Barclay, a Liberian national living in the United States of America, has won for the second time the position as city Councilman in the State of New Jersey.

   According to information gathered from the United States of America, the councilman election was held recently, on June 10, 2025, in the state of New Jersey.

   Councilman Barclay’s election victory was predicted upon collective efforts demonstrated by his supporters.

   According to information gathered, Councilman Barclay’s victory was also based on his first leadership ability, which led to his resounding victory among his fellow contestants.

   Barclay has served in many capacities at home and abroad and is the current Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA).

   “This victory is for all,” he told his supporters.
