The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), in consultation with mobile network operations, Lonestar Cell MTN and Orange Liberia, has notified customers of a slight adjustment in telecommunication rate.
According to a brief press release issued in Monrovia on Monday, March 29, 2021, LTA and the two GSM companies have agreed to a minimum regulatory fee instead of a surcharge.
This minimum adjustment will slightly affect voice and data bundles beginning April 1, 2021.
“We remain committed to providing affordable services to consumers in a responsible regulatory environment,” the statement said.
