Nimba County’s District #4 In High Gear To Receive Minister Of State

Some citizens of Nimba County’s district #4 are gearing up to receive the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, for the groundbreaking ceremony of an executive lodge, through the effort of their lawmaker, Representative Gunpue L. Kargon.

According to report, some citizens called on local radio stations in Nimba expressing their excitement at meeting the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.

District #4 lawmaker, Representative Kargon, who was also contacted during an interview, said the people of his district are putting everything into place for the safe arrival of Minister McGill.

He said Minister McGill has promised to meet the people of his district, and the citizens are overwhelmed to hear about his arrival.

A prominent citizen who preferred not to be name said the coming of Minister McGill to district #4 is also a fulfillment of some campaign promises because of the huge votes the CDC obtained in the district during the 2017 elections.

The prominent citizen also noted that the executive lodge is also a boost for the district through the effort of the lawmaker, and it will serve as home for top government officials visiting the district.

It can be recalled that in August 2021 numerous citizens from close to 20 towns gathered to recommit themselves to the re-election bid of Representative Kargon, commonly known as “Dubai King”, in 2023.

The statement, signed by some of the citizens at the time and in the possession of the Hot Pepper, stated, “Whereas, we the entire citizenry of Gbor Administrative District located in Zoe-geh Statutory District, have gathered here in the district’s political headquarters of Gbor Payee on this day of August 24, 2021 for the specific purpose of celebrating the holiday and reaffirming our decision taken in 2017 to pledge our unwavering support to one of our kin and son, Hon. Gunpue L. Kargon, Representative of District #4, as the lone candidate for the upcoming 2023 presidential and legislative elections.”
