NPP Reschedules 7th Biennial Convention

The former ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that, due to circumstances beyond its control, its much publicized 7th Biennial Convention, scheduled to have taken place from December 6—10, 2021 in Gbarnga, Bong County, is now rescheduled from December 21—22, 2021, in Kakata, Margibi County.

   NPP is one of the constituent parties of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC). The other constituent parties are the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) and the Liberia People Democratic Party (LPDP).

   In a press release issued in Monrovia and signed by Boakai A. Cooper, Director of Press, the NPP informed all of its partisans, well-wishers and the general public to  take due note of the latest development regarding its  ensuing 7th Biennial Convention.

   Meanwhile, several partisans have been appointed on the Convention Coordinating Committee to proceed with the activities for the constitutional conduct of the convention.

   Those appointed are: Andrew Peters, Chairman; Emmanuel A. Lomax, Co-Chair; Bolton Dennis, Secretary; Albert Quenah, member; Mary Q. Johnson, member; Olivia Shannoh, member; and Cyrus Kamara, member.
