The President of the Paynesville Business Association (PABA), Sheik Y. Jalloh, has said that the business association stands prepared to support the Government of Liberia (GOL) in its quest to develop Paynesville.
Jalloh’s statement comes in the wake of the Government of Liberia (GOL) beginning the pavement of the RedLight road and others development initiatives in Paynesville, which are meant to transform the livelihood of the dwellers and the business community as well.
The head of the Paynesville Business Association (PABA) stated that the completion of the road rehabilitation will immensely boast commercial activities in the city of Paynesville and beyond.
He therefore called on all business owners in Paynesville to obey and support the Government of Liberia (GOL) in its quest.
Commenting on the association’s last year activities, Jalloh noted that the year 2021 was a bit challenging due to the relocation of many of its members to the Omega Market. He quickly pointed out that calm has returned to the association and things are on course.
When asked about the association’s connection with the government, he replied as saying that the association is working close with line institutions of government, as they are there to help the government to achieve its developmental goals.
Jalloh disclosed that a plan is underway to build the capacity of PABA members and connect them with bigger opportunities.
The Paynesville Business Association (PABA) is the largest business institution in the Paynesville belt, and is involved in advocating on behalf of Paynesville businesses, mediating between businesses and government institutions, especially the Paynesville City Corporation (PCC), and resolving issues confronting the wellbeing of citizens in Paynesville.
