–As Kuoh Donates Motorbikes, Cash
The operation of the Liberia National Police (LNP) has been boosted to fight crime and protect the lives of Liberian citizens, as the force at the weekend received two motorbikes and US$2,000 from a patriotic Liberian, Anthony Cassell Kuoh Sr.
Kuoh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Founder of New Energy Electric Vehicles-Liberia (NEEV), the Kuoh Foundation and FC Fassell, made the donation of the two brand new motorbikes and US$2,000 cash on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the head office of NEEV in Monrovia.
Speaking at the ceremony marking the donation, the businessman and sports administrator stated that the gift is aimed at enhancing the police’s work as they embark on a strategic retreat this weekend in the leeward part of the country.
Kuoh pointed out that the donation was in line with his patriotic duty as a Liberian citizen. “Whenever we are called upon as patriotic citizens and humanitarians, we always show up. A few hours ago, we were called upon by the LNP for support because they are going on a retreat. We thought it wise as humanitarians to extend our goodwill gesture in order to empower them, so that they will in turn protect the lives of our citizens and make sure they maintain the peace of this nation,” he stated.
“I told my management team and we discussed it, and they endorsed my decision. So, on today, I am here to donate two motorbikes and US$2,000,” he added.
The LNP, led by some top-ranking officials, including official Spokesperson, Cecelia Clarke, lauded Kuoh for his kind gesture which, according to them, will help the police in moving into the trenches in the exercise of its sacred duties and responsibilities.
