The President of Liberia, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah, says he is disheartened by news of the death of former Associate Justice, Karmo Soko Sackor, who died on Monday, June 14, 2021. He was twice appointed to the Supreme Court of Liberia.
The President has hailed the invaluable service of the former Associate Justice, describing him as one of the pillars of the country’s peace. He also recalled the personal counsel Justice Sackor provided him over the years.
“He served Liberia through its most difficult period,” President Weah said of Justice Sackor, and called on Liberians to cultivate the culture of appreciating the country’s trailblazers before they are gone.
The Liberian Leader also conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family, urging them to take solace in the Lord during this very difficult time for them.
President Weah said, “Rest in peace ‘Super 7’, ‘Hold Your Man’, my advisor.”
