Pres. Weah’s Early Support For 2023

NIMBA COUNTY IS the second of the six counties listed for the first phase of President George Manneh Weah’s nationwide tour, intended for the President to familiarize himself with the impact of his administration’s flagship policy, “Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development”, on the Liberian people, and although the tour has just begun it appears like its outcome will be fruitful.

FAR AHEAD OF the 2023 general and presidential elections, the second most populated county in the country, Nimba County, has pledged to stand with and by President George Manneh Weah in the 2023 general and president elections, largely due to the development initiatives of his administration in the county.

THE CHAIRMAN OF Nimba County Legislative Caucus, Senator Prince Y. Johnson, said to President Weah, “We are going to experience paved roads from Ganta to Tapita. And all these are due to your development initiatives. Nimba is your number one ally; we are with you and by you. At the 2023 polls, we will stand by you. It is better to be with the devil you know than the angel you don’t know.” Senator Johnson rained praises on the President for the developmental initiatives. He described President Weah as the “talk-and-do” man.

THE POLITICAL GODFATHER of Nimba, Senator Johnson, reminded the Liberian leader,  “In 2017, I stood with you, but the people of Nimba were apprehensive and almost went to Joseph Boakai. After all, the people followed me and voted for you. It is always good to be patient.”
