Bomi County’s district#2 Representative, Bishop Manah Johnson, recently provided L$150,000 toward the fight against the deadly COVID-19 disease in the county.
Representative Johnson said this was his way of helping to contribute toward the fight against the deadly viral disease.
Representative Manah Johnson also contributed US$150 each to Radio Bomi and PUMA FM to create awareness about the virus in the citizenry.
The Bomi County lawmaker also gave to the police station in Klay US$150 and 300 bags of rice to the county for the citizens while they fight the virus.
The lawmaker made a similar donation to the citizens of Bomi County during first outbreak of the COVID-19 in the country.
The Representative, since his ascendency to the position in 2017, has been concerned about the wellbeing of the citizens of Bomi County.
Recently the lawmaker donated to two commissioners in the county one vehicle to enable them to smoothly carry out their functions in the county.
Representative Manah Johnson also donated one motorbike each to four chiefs in his district, and one to the police commander in Klay district.
The lawmaker has promised to donate to the twenty-eight chiefs in his district one motorbike each for their operational use in the county.
