Rep. Thomas Donates Assorted Food Items To Muslim Community

Montserrado County’s district #4 Representative, Michael M. Thomas, has donated assorted food items to the Muslim community in his district, in commemoration of his birthday, which brought together his cronies, media practitioners, well-wishers, the Muslim community, Christian community, his constituents, among others.

The Representative thanked God for sparing his life but regretted his mother’s demise and those of the faithful departed.

“Today is a very great day for us, as we are grateful to Allah for sparing our life to see a very historic day,” Representative Thomas said. “Many people wished to be alive 2025, but the cold hand of death has taken them away, including my mother and other family members.”

As Muslims worldwide are observing one of the five pillars of Islam, Representative Thomas’ humanitarian gesture expressed the profound love he has for religious tolerance and continued prayers for the maintenance of peace and tranquility from the Muslim community.

“So Imam, as part of our celebration of the birthday, we commit it to you, so we officially delicate these few bags of rice, oil and sacks of water to be distributed to all of the Mosques within district #4,” Representative Thomas said, as he presented the foodstuffs to the head Imam of the district, Hassan Kamara. “So we say thanks for coming, and let God bless you.”
However, society has a way of remembering people for their invaluable services rendered. So is Representative Thomas, who is on the record of his constituents, the Muslim community, and so on, for his generosity before his ascendancy and up to the present.

“We say Almighty Allah thank you. Our father Honorable Michael Thomas in the district, this is not your first time to identify yourself with the Islamic community,” Montserado County’s district #4’s Chief Imam, Hassan Kamara, said, as he beamed with a smile, pointed his finger at the assorted food items and lauded Representative for his past humanitarian gestures rendered them.

The Imam praised Representative Thomas for those in earshot, saying the honorable’s handiworks are on mosques in the district, dating back before his victory as the district’s representative.

“You not become Representative, you painted the mosque, fixed the area that we can wash dead body in the Mosque,” Imam Kamara recalled the honorable’s good deeds. “Today, if you give us huge amount of rice, we are not looking at the rice; Allah said… he is looking at your intention for giving the rice.”

In a special way, the Deputy Imam of district #4 showered Allah’s manifold blessings upon Representative Thomas through a fervent prayer.
