Team Murphy Gibson, a group in support of Bomi County’s senatorial aspirant, Murphy Gibson, is said to be making headways in the county among his opponents.
Over the weekend, Team Gibson donated L$25,000 to the women of Sawwill Village, presented L$5,000 to a family in Coleman Hill community, and presented ten bags of cement to the motorcyclist union in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
Team Gibson said the donation was meant to identify with the people of Bomi County in times like these, when majority of the Bomi populace are challenged financially.
According to them, the bags of cement donated was meant to buttresses the workings of the motorcyclists in Tubmanburg, Bomi County. At the same time, Team Gibson said they deemed it necessary to clarify recent information circulating on social media and in the county that Murphy Gibson will no longer be contesting the senatorial seat of the county.
Team Gibson said such information within the public space is false and misleading and is from the devil’s belly.
The Gibson team noted that they remain the beacon of hope for the people of Bomi County.
Bomi County is rich with natural resources, but the people are suffering due to bad leadership from those charged with handling the people’s affairs.
Those who received the donation expressed thanks and appreciation for the kind gesture from the senatorial hopeful, Murphy Gibson.
