The new administration of the Union of Liberian Association in the Americas (ULAA), headed by Mohammad Keita, has appointed officials to serve in varied positions at ULAA to steer the affairs of the institution for two consecutive years during his tenure.
In an interview with newsmen, President Keita emphasized that ULAA’s new administration envisions total transformation, beginning with the leadership and members as well.
According to him, the recommendation of appointees came following thorough evaluation conducted by his team on individual character and leadership abilities.
He noted that his leadership is pleased to work with the following personalities for the period of two years at ULAA.
Those appointed are Lucy Wilson- Kear, Executive Director for the All Liberian Conference on Dual Citizenship (ALCOD), J. Victor Nagbe, Coordinator for Diaspora Affairs, Daniel Wah Jr., Northern Regional Vice President, Mamunie Dennis, Special Project, Stephen Binda Sr., Chairperson External Affairs Committee, Gus K. Brown, Chairperson on Way Means & Finance Committee, Bangalee Trawally, Chairman Constitution Review Committee, J. Michael Wreh, Chairman on Immigration Committee, Sekou Sirleaf, Assistant General Secretary for Media Relations, Bush Tarty, Assistant General Secretary for Record and Minutes, and Varney Sirleaf, Youth Ambassador.
According to information gathered, these individuals have worked at home and abroad, proving their leadership tangibles at home and abroad.
Liberians in the diaspora have developed high expectations from the current leadership at ULAA, with their belief that the leadership has the ability to address some of the challenges confronting Liberians at home and abroad.
