Thirty (30) professional doctors from the United States of America on Friday, October 29, 2021 arrived in the country as the result of the recent negotiation by Montserrado County Senator, Saah H. Joseph, for the doctors to come and help the residents of his county with improved healthcare.
Senator Joseph spent nearly two months in the United States, where he visited several institutions and key members of Congress to push the case of his county.
The American doctors arrived at the Roberts International Airport at 5:40 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 on Air France.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend, Senator Joseph disclosed that the doctors will provide free medical treatment for residents of Montserrado County.
He noted that the exercise is a part of the Montserrado County health team’s delivery of free healthcare to the people of the county.
The CDC senator disclosed that the doctors, while in the country, will be at his expense, and that this is his way of helping underprivileged Liberians who are unable to get access to medication.
