As the Biblical proverb goes, “There is a time for everything under the heavens.” Due to this saying, the long-awaited Wellness Center Services at the Ministry of Health was finally dedicated recently.
This Wellness Center Services is designated for employees at the Ministry of Health to seek emergency and medical attention at the ministry.
Speaking with madam Diana T. Sarteh, Chief Nursing And Midwifery officer of the Republic of Liberia, she noted that the objective of the Wellness Center Services is to ensure that employees at the Ministry of Health are physically fit to discharge of their official duties.
According to her, the Wellness Center Services was named in honor of the former late Chief Nursing And Midwifery officer of the Ministry of Health. The current Chief Nursing and Midwifery officer praise her predecessor for the hard work done during her stay at the Ministry of Health.
She said the establishment of the Wellness Center Services was meant to awaken the legacy of Musu Bendu Washington, former Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer of the Republic of Liberia.
At the same time, Sarteh praised the leadership of the Ministry of Health for providing support toward the establishment of this center.
She expressed her unit’s thanks and appreciation to the FARA Organization for the support given this center. She also expressed thanks and appreciation to the World Blank group for their tireless efforts in strengthening her unit.
