Zogo Challenge Set For Today

One of Liberia’s fastest growing entertainment group, Libx Records, is hosting a two-day music competition for the disenchanted youth, popularly known as Zogoes.

The event is to raise awareness for support to Libx Records and give back to those promoting the record’s music and rehabilitating the zogoes. Over 60 participants are expected to storm the YMCA today, which is the grand final.

Speaking to reporters about the event, Libx Records CEO, Bexter Richardson, said this is the rightful time for such a unique competition to kick start—after several postponements due to the lockdown in Liberia. “Let me say thank you to my entire team members and everyone who is contributing directly and indirectly. I’m so humble and grateful,” he said.

Richardson concluded by encouraging people to support this event and other developments in helping to improve the foundation by searching gotomeet.me/bexta.
